Parapets for Viale Giulini
‘Afforadble Housing’ designed by Alvisi Kirimoto, a coverted arcitect from Rome. The large residential block, used regular dark grey bricks with white expanded metal parapets incorporated within the build.
The architects conceived these parapets as a series of light 'loggias', as if hanging from the façade to provide the units with extra space, enriching the spaces of the smaller flats in particular.
As the balconies project outwards it helps to provide enhanced natural lighting for the environment, thanks to their white semi-transparent expanded metal surfaces.
